Obituary: New Castle News, Thursday, May 6, 1948 Anthony Sarbo, aged 73 years of 1307 Pennsylvania avenue died in the New Castle hospital, Wednesday at 6:30 pm, following a short illness. Mr. Sarbo was born November, 28, 1874 in Dragone, Italy, son of Angelo and Mary Sorbo. Hew was a farmer all his life and worked on his farm at R.D. 1. He was a member of the Italian Christian church coming to America at an early age. His wife, Adeline Sorbo, to who he had been married for 47 years, survies and the following children: Mr. Mary Palmer, this city; Harry, Trafford, PA; Andrew, this city; Louis, of Louisville, KY; Mrs. Amelia Carvela, this city; Rev. Alfred Sarbo, Spanish Pentecostal church, San Antonio, Texas; Captain Albert Sarbo, U. S. Army, Greenbelt, MD; Rev. Frank Sarbo, of First Pentecostal church, Antonogon (incomplete) |
